Powered by one of the first, and most beautiful micro-rotor movements to ever be commercialized. Now, with this slender fusion of 316L stainless steel and optical grade sapphire, you can view that fine engine at your own leisure, and intrigue friends with its story.
 
 
The design of this caseback has been specially engineered to maintain the slim profile of the original caseback. The domed sapphire carefully tracks the profile of the movement, never touching. The tool interface faces are cut to the same specifications as the original but finished with sandblasting to eliminate machining marks and elevate the presentation of the movement. 
 
An Edge-To-Edge Viewing Experience
Unlike other casebacks, this design allows you to see the entirety of the movement, so your experience isn't truncated by compromises on quality. 
 
How it's Made:
First, the exceptionally thin outer ring must be precision machined from 316L stainless steel. A mirror polish is subsequently applied, taking special care not to distort the machined geometry. 
The faces of the opener profile are then sandblasted. The sapphire crystal, ground from optical grade sapphire and coated with clear anti-reflective coatings on the inner face, is then fitted to the ring with a special water-resistant seal. 
 
Usage Instructions:
Fitment is simple. Just remove the old caseback, screw on the new one, and enjoy the view! Please note, the caseback will ship with a protective sticker, which should be removed for optimal viewing.
